You know it is dangerous when a police officer is killed at an ATM.  It sounds like this officer was just getting ready to retire after 18 years of honorable service.  I hope these two perps die in prison.

Alfred was looking forward to an upcoming cruise.

Hugo Terry and Davin Smith are accused of killing Officer Alfred Gordon while he was using an ATM at the Pine Hills Bank of America in 2007.

The prosecution began its case by showing crime scene photographs from the night that Gordon, 52, was killed.

The evidence included photos of Gordon’s Cadillac, in which he was found shot to death with his gun with his gun lying on his side.

Prosecutors said Terry and Smith were trying to rob Gordon but ended up shooting him.

Gordon’s ex-wife, Beverly Gordon, was the first witness on the stand. She spoke about seeing him hours before his death.”We were just talking about the cruise we had planned,” Gordon said. “He said, ‘I have been at the Police Department 18 years, and in two years I can retire.’ He had talked to all three of his children on his birthday. They had corrected his heart rhythm; you know, he felt like life was ready to take an upward turn and he was just excited and happy…”

Hell will be a little more crowded when this stool patty dies.  Frank Lombard thought he would do a nice thing and adopt an infant son, an otherwise unwanted child in a cruel world.  However, this was not an act of love but one of sexual deviance.  Frank has been molesting his son and recently offered him up to another pervert he met online.  He was busted by an online sting after another pervert indicted for a similar crime tipped off police.

A Duke University official has been arrested and charged with offering his adopted 5-year-old son for sex.

Frank Lombard, the school’s associate director of the Center for Health Policy, was arrested after an Internet sting, according to the FBI’s Washington field office and the city’s police department.

According to an affidavit by District of Columbia Police Det. Timothy Palchak, an unnamed informant facing charges in his own child sex case led authorities to Lombard.

Authorities said that Lombard tried to persuade a person — who he did not know was a police officer — to travel to North Carolina to have sex with Lombard’s child.

The detective’s affidavit charges Lombard identified himself online as “perv dad for fun,” and says that in an online chat with the detective, Lombard said he had sexually molested his son, whom he adopted as an infant…

What could have been so bad as to warrant the death of this little girl.  Those who read these pages know how badly I detest child killers.  They are a stain on humanity.  Let’s hope these two get a lifetime of confinement.

Jada was in the care of her cousin when she was taken and killed.

A baby sitter and her boyfriend were arrested Friday and charged with the murder of a 2-year-old girl, whose body was found this week in northwest Indiana — more than a week after she disappeared.

Engelica Castillo, 18, one of the suspects in young Jada Justice’s death, was the person who reported the girl missing June 16. Jada was found Thursday in rural LaPorte County, but authorities did not release a cause of death.

Castillo and 24-year-old Tim Tkachick, both of Hobart, Ind., were being held without bond Friday in the Lake County Jail on charges of murder, neglect of a dependent, battery and false informing.

Castillo, Jada’s cousing who was babysitting at the time, had claimed that the child had been abducted from a car while the teenager went into a convenience store in Gary, but police and family cast doubt on that story…

I remember watching this case on AMW.  It was creepy in that one of the victims scraled a seemingly unitelligble clue in her own blood.  Police have arrested the son but the article makes no mention of a motive.  I can’t imagine how angry and deranged a person must be to kill his own parents.

The Jabalees were stabbed and beaten to death in their garage.

An arrest has been made in a three year old double homicide that rocked a small town and garnered national attention.

The son of a New Baltimore couple that was found beaten and stabbed to death in their garage in October 2006 was arrested Friday in connection with his parent’s death.

Ron Jabalee Jr. was arrested at the family businesses, just hours after a grand jury wrapped up meetings to decide if charges were to be levied in the case.

Ron Jabalee Jr. was charged with two counts of premeditated first-degree murder and two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of his parents, Christine and Ronald.

He is being held at the New Baltimore police station and will be arraigned Saturday morning. Richard Jabalee is also scheduled to appear before Macomb County Circuit Judge Richard Carretti on July 6…

What to do on a hot day in North Carolina?  Why drive around in undeveloped housing tracts with naked kids in your car of course!  That’s what this fruit cake did.  There is no mention if the kids were his but that hardly makes a difference.

Garner police charged a Raleigh man with taking indecent liberties with a child Monday.

An off-duty deputy called police after he spotted Jonathan Leigh Sullivan, 41, parked in an undeveloped subdivision. Officers found a toddler boy and a preteen girl with him in his car.

Officers spotted the boy, but found the girl only after a search. She was naked and hiding under a tarp.

The search warrant in the case said the girl told officers she spent time with Sullivan in their “quiet place.” She gave officers a reason why she was naked, the warrant said, but later changed her story.

According to the warrant, officers also seized some photos, a camera, a laptop computer and some computer discs from Sullivan’s car…
