Marijuana Dealing Leads to Double Murder
Wednesday, July 15th, 2009It isn’t often one reads of marijuana dealers killing each other. That sort of capital behavior is usually reserved for harder drugs like heroin or cocaine. The victim allegedly was fronted some marijuana by the killer and agreed to sell it on his behalf. However, the victim did not bother to repay the dealer. Frustrated, the dealer killed the man and his wife. I guess marijuana doesn’t mellow everyone out.

A Harrison County man has been arrested on charges that he killed a Calhoun County couple in April.
Kirk Alan “Bucky” Miller, of Salem, was arrested Thursday after an almost three-month investigation into the deaths of Julie and Mike Flanagan at their home on Left Fork Road, near Millstone, according to State Police.
The Flanagans were found dead in their home by their daughter, who came to visit them April 14. The couple died of apparent gunshot wounds.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Calhoun County Magistrate Court, Miller had sold marijuana for Mike Flanagan since around Feb. 1.
Flanagan allegedly agreed to split any money from the drug dealings with Miller, but did not keep his promise, according to the criminal complaint. Miller allegedly said that he repeatedly asked Flanagan to pay him.
After being rebuffed several times, Miller decided to kill Flanagan weeks before the actual shooting, according to the complaint…
