Man Arrested in Kidnap Attempt

Friday, July 17th, 2009

I always feel safer when yet another creep is taken off the streets.  This is Craig Allen Stillwagon.  Craig was arrested after he tried to kidnap a junior high school girl off the streets in Houston.  A partial license plate and a description led police to Stillwagon.  Now he will be flushed down the Texas justice system.

Man Arrested for Kidnapping and Child Rape

Wednesday, July 8th, 2009

I bet this father is re-thinking his choice of friends after this incident.  The dad invited a friend over to drink and hang out.  The guy claims he drank too much so he had to spend the night.  Then he wakes up and takes the dad’s 12 year old daughter to his truck, drove her to his house, raped her, threatened her if she told anyone, then took her back home.  What a monster … and a terrible house guest.

On Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 5:50 p.m., the Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a sex crime.

Deputies met with the complainant and prepared a preliminary report. Due to the nature of the crime, Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Special Victim’s Unit were assigned to continue the investigation.

As a result, 34 year old Brett Neal Cluck of Lehigh Acres has been charged with kidnapping and capital sexual battery.

During the investigation, Detectives were told Cluck, described as a long-time friend, had been with the victim’s father playing video games and drinking beer the night of July 3rd. He asked to spend the night on the couch claiming he had too much to drink. The father went to bed around 3 a.m. on the 4th of July.

At some time during the early morning hours, the victim, who is under 12 years old, was sleeping in her room when the accused entered and placed his hand over her mouth. The suspect carried the child to his red, 1997 4-door Mercury and drove to his home.

The victim was sexually battered and told not to tell anyone or he would kill her or her sibling. He drove the child back to her residence, before returning to his home…

Girl Feared Kidnapped

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009

This has all the makings of a stranger abduction.  Lindsey was last seen walking home from a friend’s house four blocks away.  She had been fighting with one of her brothers but it is NOT believed she would have run away.

Lindsey is just 10 years old.

A wide-ranging search is under way for a 10-year-old girl who vanished Friday evening while walking home from a friend’s house in this small town set amid forested hills west of Olympia. And now the entire town is worried.

Lindsey J. Baum was last seen at 9:15 p.m. Friday when she left her friend’s home on Maple Street, where she had been visiting, said Dave Pimentel of the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office.

Lindsey was going to walk the four blocks to her home on Mommsen Road, which is roughly a 10-minute walk. But something happened in that short distance – Lindsey never arrived home.

“She hasn’t been seen or heard from since,” Pimentel said.

Her mother reported her missing at 10:50 p.m. And as the hours drag by with no sign of her, the girl’s family fears she may have been taken by a stranger…

Man Kidnaps 6 Year Old Girl

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009

Justin Shine – with a pair of police-induced shiners – is the worst kind of monster.  He allegedly kidnapped a 6 year old girl, injected her with a drug, then tied her up and tried to rape her.  He has kids of his own and apparently used them as a lure to gain the confidence of his victim.  Somehow, miraculously, the girl got away and told her mother who called police.  When police arrived, Justin lunged at them and was beaten over the head, though, sadly, not to a bloody, mortally wounded pulp.

Couple Arrested in Death of 2 Year Old

Saturday, June 27th, 2009

What could have been so bad as to warrant the death of this little girl.  Those who read these pages know how badly I detest child killers.  They are a stain on humanity.  Let’s hope these two get a lifetime of confinement.

A baby sitter and her boyfriend were arrested Friday and charged with the murder of a 2-year-old girl, whose body was found this week in northwest Indiana — more than a week after she disappeared.

Engelica Castillo, 18, one of the suspects in young Jada Justice’s death, was the person who reported the girl missing June 16. Jada was found Thursday in rural LaPorte County, but authorities did not release a cause of death.

Castillo and 24-year-old Tim Tkachick, both of Hobart, Ind., were being held without bond Friday in the Lake County Jail on charges of murder, neglect of a dependent, battery and false informing.

Castillo, Jada’s cousing who was babysitting at the time, had claimed that the child had been abducted from a car while the teenager went into a convenience store in Gary, but police and family cast doubt on that story…
