Female sex offenders are something of a social oddity.  We all have our preconceived ideas of what a male pervert might look like: a dirty old man masturbating in a playground, etc.  But this woman was a wife, mother and – horrifyingly enough – a nursery school employee.  It was at work where the alleged assaults took place and were photographed.

Vanessa is alleged to have been a monster.

Dozens of parents are waiting to discover whether their children were among those allegedly assaulted by a nursery worker charged with sexual abuse of those in her care.

Vanessa George, a mother of two, will appear in court today charged with seven offences, including two of sexual assault by penetration and two of sexual assault by touching. She was also charged with making, possessing and distributing indecent images of children.

Mrs George, 39, was arrested on Monday night after indecent images of children taken at Little Ted’s Day Nursery in Plymouth, were found on a computer disc seized by police from a suspected paedophile in Manchester.

Police said yesterday that the photographs included pictures of children’s torsos taken on a camera phone at the nursery, where Mrs George is believed to have worked for the past two years…

At least we know this guy would have been an honest cop, albeit a profoundly stupid one.  I suppose this is one of those tough questions for a pedophile who also wants to carry a gun.  I am always distrustful of anyone named Christian.

A 29-year-old El Monte man has been charged with violating federal child pornography laws after disclosing on his application to become a California Highway Patrol officer that he had viewed illegal pornography on the Internet, authorities said.

CHP officials, working in conjunction with the FBI on a multiagency task force, immediately launched an investigation of Christian Hernandez after he made the disclosure while applying to the agency in October, said FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller.

Hernandez also admitted having viewed illicit photos of a minor within a month of filling out the application, Eimiller said.

CHP investigators performed a consent search of the home where Hernandez was living and found child pornography on a computer he was using, including sexually explicit photos of a 5-year-old girl. The photos appeared to have been taken in the bedroom of the home where Hernandez now lives, Eimiller said.

Hernandez was arrested last week on state charges of suspicion of committing a lewd act with a child and booked into Los Angeles County Jail. He was released on bail two days later…

This is becoming as pervasive as teacher-student sex trysts, and is equally as disturbing.  It sounds like law enforcement is getting more techno-saavy when it comes to these types of busts.  Some of these creeps had a video on how to molest a child and get away with it.  Sick.  I have said this over and over again: there is no cure for these guys.  None.

John Harvey Watson was not only collecting child porn, he was making it as well. He is one of 77 men arrested in Operation Orange Tree.

77 people, including two men from Jacksonville, have been arrested in the statewide sting. Investigators say some of the suspects had a video showing how to molest children.

Florida’s top brass delivered the results of a three-month cyber crime sting. “I think the most important think that we can do in government is to protect our children,” said Governor Charlie Crist.

Mission ‘Operation Orange Tree’ involved the cooperation of 23 state, federal and local law enforcement agencies. They arrested 77 people. All of them have been charged with child pornography, some of them are even charged with child molestation.

Two men from Duval County are among those arrested. John Harvey Watson, 62, faces five counts of cruelty toward a child. Kyle Richard Schlau, 26, faces nine counts of cruelty toward a child.

“There are no actors in these images, they’re each of real children, they’re victimizations. The criminal act itself has been captured in digital format and memorialized,” said Florida Department of Law Enforcement Commissioner Gerald Bailey.

Law enforcement said 17 of those arrested even had a “How to Molest a Child” video tutorial in their possession. Although law enforcement couldn’t give First Coast News details about how they tracked these predators, they said they used a new software technology, donated by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children…

Another week, another educator caught messing with kids.  This time it is psychologist Johnny Clevinger, a real genius.  I have to wonder what kind of school hires someone who lists nudity as a hobby.  Johnny tipped police to his proclivity for nude boys when he dropped off a roll of film for processing and the clerk noticed nude photos.  Good one, smart guy.

Investigators said some of the pictures of naked children found in school psychologist Johnny Clevinger’s home date back at least two decades.

Now that's a photo worth printing.

Authorities said they also expect to find more photos on three computers they seized.

“A number of photographs [were taken] right there at the house, and there was some information that he was utilizing the computers for this type of activity,” District Attorney Scott Thomas said.

Some of Clevinger’s neighbors said they were suspicious that something was wrong in the home. One neighbor said she had even called child protective services in the past after worries about Clevinger’s adopted children.

Clevinger worked as a school psychologist for the Carteret County School System. Administrators said he’s suspended with pay pending an investigation…

It seems this type of thing is all too pervasive.  Child porn busts are getting more and more common.  It appears this video was circulated via a peer-to-peer network and may eventually lead to the arrest of over 9,000 offenders in 92 different countries.

Sixteen Australian men have been arrested and charged in connection to an internet video showing the rape of an eight-year-old girl.

The Australian Federal Police (AFP) says the video, linked to a global pornography network, contains some of the most serious images of sexual abuse, and more Australians are expected to be charged.

AFP child protection operations teams carried out 27 search warrants with one man arrested in NSW, two in Victoria, eight in Queensland, three in South Australia and two in Western Australia.

The operation began with a tip-off from the Baden-Wuerttemberg State Criminal Police (BKA) in Germany in December last year.

The BKA have identified more than 9,000 potential offenders in 92 countries across the globe.

The AFP’s national manager of high tech crime operations, Neil Gaughan, says the video is very disturbing…
